About COEP Pune
COEP Pune accepts MHT CET for admission to the B.Tech programmes. MHT CET 2024 exam for PCM Group started on May 2, 2024 and will conclude on May 17, 2024. The answer key is to be released in the last week of May 2024 (tentative). This is followed by the MHT CET 2024 result which is expected to be released in the second week of June 2024 (tentative) for COEP Pune admission. From July to August 2024 (tentative), the MHT CET 2024 counselling process is to be conducted.
The College of Engineering Pune or COEP was founded in 1854 and is regarded as one of the top colleges in Pune offering courses in the field of technical education on a global scale. COEP became a unitary public university in June 2023. The institute is recognised by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and is accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA). The National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) has accredited the institute with an ‘A+’ grade in 2023. Furthermore, COEP secured 72nd position in the engineering category in NIRF Ranking 2022 and 73rd position in the 2023 rankings.
COEP courses list includes nine UG and 24 PG specialisations. Some of the popular degrees at the institute are B.Tech, M.Tech, MBA, PhD etc. Besides a robust teaching pedagogy, COEP is also a leader in research and innovation. Focus is given to activities beyond academics at the campus which is evident from its infrastructure, extracurricular activities and national and international collaborations. The placement cell at the college provides training to students and prepares them for the professional world. Courses & Admission 2024 at COEP Pune
COEP courses are offered in B.Tech, M.Tech, PGD, B.Plan, M.Plan and PhD. Both the bachelor of technology and master of technology are full-time engineering programmes awarded by the College of Engineering Pune. Candidates applying for these engineering programmes must fulfil the COEP eligibility criteria to proceed with the admission process.
The JEE Main and MHTCET entrance tests are used to determine admission to the COEP Pune B.Tech programme, which is followed by an interview process. Candidates are admitted to the COEP PG programmes through a selection process based on their scores in the GATE and CEED entrance exams.

COEP Pune Admission 2024
COEP Pune admission is based on MHT CET and JEE Main entrance examination for B.Tech courses. Candidates must have a valid score in the entrance examination to get admission to the respective courses. Based on the MHT CET results 2024, to be released in the second week of June 2024 (tentative), the cutoff data will be created. Qualifying candidates then will proceed with the counselling process.
COEP admissions are offered in nine undergraduate, 24 posgraduate, and four postgraduate diploma programmes in management, engineering, and technology and doctoral degrees. For candidates applying to the B.Tech programme who enrol in the first year of the programme at COEP, the admissions are centralised. The Maharashtra Entrance Test (MHTCET) results are required to determine COEP admission based on merit.
COEP M.Tech admission, candidates must have a valid GATE scores as well as a bachelor's in engineering or technology to be considered for admission. A candidate can select one of about 24 specialisations while pursuing an M.Tech degree at COEP. To be eligible for admission, applicants who wish to enrol in one of CoEP's three PGD programmes must pass both interview rounds.

COEP Pune Cutoff 2024
COEP Pune cutoff 2024 will be released by the Maharashtra State CET Cell. The cutoff will be released in online mode at cetcell.mahacet.org. The cutoff can be expected to be released in June-July 2024 (tentative). However, candidates can check the COEP cut off (expected) for a better understanding of the requirements.

COEP Pune Scholarships
The College of Engineering Pune is dedicated to advancing technical education excellence and wants to provide its students with resources and instruction of the highest calibre. It emphasises that no student, regardless of their difficulties, should be denied access to higher education.
The students are given a variety of COEP scholarships and financial support from the government, non-government organisations, businesses and alumni. These COEP Pune scholarships are both government and private, and some are only available to COEP graduates. Additionally, there are a number of scholarships available only to female students. COEP Pune Application Process 2024
Candidates must apply through the DTE Maharashtra's MHTCET exam in order to apply for B.Tech and B.Plan at COEP. Students who wish to pursue an MBA or M.Tech programme must apply for the GATE, CEED, or MAH CET and go through the DTE Maharashtra counselling process. Students must go to the COEP official website, click on the ‘Admission’ tab, look for the relevant admission links, and submit an online application for the remaining PG Diploma and PhD admission opportunities.
The steps for COEP Pune UG admissions are as follows:
Step 1: Open the MHTCET official website (cetcell.mahacet.org).
Step 2: Click on the ‘MHT CET 2024 registration’ link.
Step 3: To complete the registration procedure, fill out all the data required and press the submit button.
Step 4: After the registration is complete, candidates are redirected to fill out the application form.
Step 5: Now upload the scanned images of your signature, passport-size photographs and ID proof.
Step 6: Pay the application fees and print the application form with receipts for future reference.

COEP Pune admissions are made based on MHT CET scores. You can apply from the official website of COEP. Only those candidates who have registered and confirmed online through the CET portal and verified their applications as per MH CET Cell notification before the last cut off date are eligible for counselling rounds. COEP Pune accepts national and state-level entrance exams, such as JEE Main, MHT CET, MAH CET, GATE and CEED.
Dear student, it is unlikely that you will be able to get admission in B.Tech with 70 percentile in JEE Mains. The COEP Pune cut off for B.Tech in 2022 was 93.1 percentile for the general category. This means that you would have needed to score at least 93.1 percentile in the JEE Mains exam to be eligible for admission to B.Tech at COEP under the general category. Since the 2023 cut off is going to be similar to the previous year's cut off marks, it is advised to start looking for admissions at other colleges with lower cut offs.
